suspected of being involved in a series
of recent attacks in the capital Baghdad.
The men were caught during a crackdown
launched by Iraqi forces and the multi-national
forces aimed at reducing attacks during
Sunday's election. The Iraqi forces
also confiscated scores of weapons and
explosives, including 20 AK-47s, dozens
of mortar rounds and hundreds of detonator
caps, automatic machine guns and rocket-propelled
grenades.
