Norinco stamped angle cut receiver
Question:    Is there an adapter for above receiver that can be used to attach a folding stock ?

Thank you
Answer:  I don't think so

I have seen some adapters for milled receivers, but I don't think they were for Chinese AKs

Hi cap wasr 10 to take hunting
Question:    I have recently purchased a hi cap wasr 10. I am wanting to take it hunting, but here you have to use the 10 rd clip. Will the 10rd clip fit in my gun? I have researched and cant seem to find anything about this. Thanks for your help in advance!
Answer:  Yes and no

There are more than one kind of 10 round magazine

Yours will need the 'wide' 10 round mag

There are "single stack" (narrow) mags that would not fit your AK

pre ban ak side folding stock...
Question:    Thanks in advance for your guys helpful advice.
ok, so i have a preban polytech aks-762 with a side folding stock on it and wanted to switch it out to an ar style. the only problem is it doesnt just unscrew like all the other ak's ive seen it looks like it is held in by the rivets... any sugguestions on what to do? thanks again
Answer:  Sounds like you have a fairly rare AK there (prob maderate to high value). and you are talking about making it into a US looking hybred (with almost no value)

My advice is start over with a WASR-10 or some such dime a dozen Romanian if you want an AK style AK

Sounds like you couls sell what you have, buy the Romanian and have money left over

Hobbiest, first time parts kit builder
Question:    Received a parts kit from a friend. The lower receiver has been cut in half. I am unable to identify the mfg of this barrel assembly. It has a forged receiver, with stampings on the receiver (ejector side) that I have tried to identify online with no luck. Where the barrel enters the receiver, there are three circle stamps one has an E stamped inside it, another has an H inside it, and a larger circle to the right has a KI in the top part of the circle, with a 13 below it, also inside the circle. Am new to the ak kit world, any help appreciated..
Answer:  sounds like you have some research to do

My advice is you are just starting to see what all is ivolved with building an AK..

If you like the research and testing ideas, possibly messing up and doing things more than once, than keep going..

if not, concide assembiling ARs which can be done in an afternoon

Polytech AKS in 5.56
Question:    Will a bolt from a Polytech AKS in 5.56 cal fit/work in a bolt carrier for a 7.62 AK? I'm building a Romanian kit, but want it to shoot 5.56. I have never seen a 5.56 kit, so I'll be using a 7.62 one. The barrel will have to be made anyway, so headspace can be adjusted then. Also, will a 5.56 bolt lock in a 7.62 trunion?
Answer:  I do not think that will fit or work for you

AK Build combination
Question:    I'm looking at doing a build using the following combination:

Nodak NDS-3 economy receiver
Egyptian parts kit from Atlantic or Apex
Yugo M70 barrel

I've heard the Yugo M70 uses an RPK front trunnion. Will the M70 barrel fit the Egyptian trunnion with no modification? Will the Egyptian trunnion fit the receiver I have chosen? Thanks in advance-I like your site!
