Question: I have a Norinco MAK-90 parts kit for a stamped reciever. I'm looking to turn this into a rifle. Can you tell me what would be the idea U.S. made reciever to use with this kit? I noticed the Global Trades stamped recievers are 1.6 mm thick and the original MAK-90 recievers are 1.5. Seems like this would be an idea reciever to use. What's your opinion? Also, would it be legal to replace the thumbhole stock with a regular stock and pistol grip since I won't be using the original Chinese reciever? Thank you very much for your time. |
