I'm a proud owner of AK-104/1. Very nice compact rifle, imho a perfect one for CQB and home defence - yes, I know many people dislike an idea of using semiauto rifle for this purpose, but I feel good having a couple of 30rd mags loaded with softpoints at home.
Back to AK-104/1. With muzzle device detached it is almost as compact as MP5. Folding stock interfere with side-mounted reddot sight (I use Cobra). Weight with sight and 30rd in mag is rather heavy, but acceptable. |
| Pros: |
Reliable, compact, cheap, great firepower, 30rd mags. |
| Cons: |
Poor ergonomics, poor iron sight with short sight radius (can be fixed by installing an aftermarket red-dot aor telescope), bad finish, mag change is too slow for IPSC. |
