I do not consider the thumbhole stock to be a con. I am a large individual and have not meet many people with larger hands then mine and I had no problem getting comfortable with this firearm, People that do not like the thumbhole stock, are jugding the rifle on it's aesthetics instead of the overall quality of the MAK 90 performence. |

quality machining done on the reciever, extremely reliable, simple brakedown procedure, 7.62x 39 ammo is easy to find and usual inexpensive |
| Cons: |
cannot mount bayonet, but unless you have the habbit of getting into hand to hand combat, this really is not a con. |

the highest quality ak's at agood price cuz everybodys stuck on bayonets and threaded barrels and when are you gonna realy need a bayo anywase i did two tours in the war on terror and never needed one and u can thread your own barrel |

solid ak .smooth but long trigger pull with a pretty crisp break. great machining/heat treating of metals. more accurate than any wasr/sar/ive shot |

solid gun. if i were lost in the middle of no where, this solid old a.k. would be a welcome pal.what it does not have in top accuracy or lighweight,it makes up in toughness. it seems to withstand almost anything thrown at it.... |

the mak-90 is not a "tack driver" in the way of accuracy. however,it will get you close enough to the center ring with a little practice. the rifle is not light. get a good sholder strap. |
